Just booked Le Shuttle and a camp site for the Le Mans classic in July. I have been to the proper Le Mans race but never the Classic.
Anyone here been?
What should I expect / do / avoid?

Been a few times. It's ace. Make sure your tickets get you access to the paddocks as walking through while cars are being tuned/ going out for practice is fabulous. Also take a trip out to arnage, again with the right pass you can get parked right next to the track and spend a day there.
The racing is a bit odd as its not continuous, but different era's racing for about an hour a time. All sorts of fabulous metal being wrung out on track, plus tons of classics knocking about in town.
You'll love it.
