The 'Boss' needs a new inkjet printer for work use. Needs to print A3 and connect reliably to a Mac. Her old Epson Workforce job has lost print quality (8 years old?) and keeps failing to connect due to 'encryption details' - I know this is the fault of the Mac's OS and I've solved it a few times, but it's becoming more frequent and doesn't help the print quality.
Anyone used/own an Epson EcoTank, or other suggestions please?
I’ve had a brother MFC-J6720DW for past 10 years. Still going strong (used daily), has 2 trays so I can run A3 and A4 . Works well with compatible inks which save a fortune
I just got the Epson WF7840. I was initialy going for A4 brother laser for cheap as chips compatible toners, but A3 is useful for my work (and iffy eyesight).
Well impressed with the Epson, A3+ print, A3 scan. £236. Ecotank versions are available but much more expensive.
