Anyone else see Dispatches on CH4 this week ? Amazon contracted drivers working 14hr days for a flat rate, working out at less than the minimum wage.
Good chance that they're working on an unofficial "you finish work once you've finished" basis. I'm on contracted hours, but in practice that just means I can't finish early if I get finished early. If I've got customers left to see when 6pm rolls up, I've got to carry on.

I am sure I saw a recruitment advert for Yodel - van drivers need to deliver 120 parcels per day
I'd expect it to be higher than that, I deliver to between 100 and 150 customers per day, and that's not just dropping a parcel off, I have to try to sell stuff whilst I'm at the door.
