I had a dream last night, not unusual as since I stopped drinking my dreams have become rather wild and varied, some rather dark and related to my traumatic work experiences and some just plain weird.

Last night I had a dream about picking apples, I can explain that one as my wife had been commenting about the apple surplus in our ‘fridge. In the second one I was teaching Chinese soldiers how to hug! What’s that about? Is it to do with my desire for world peace or am I sending a message to our Prime Minister?

I’m just thankful that it didn’t include (the allegedly just approaching middle age) Tj in lavender and burgundy, that would have been rather unsettling!

Ooooft, nightmare!

I very rarely remember dreams. Not sure if that's normal or not. I know I'm not normal...

I think that you're a firefighter?

That's an entrepreneurial dream; you've seen an opportunity for all those unused ladders on lorries (between shouts)

In the second one I was teaching Chinese soldiers how to hug! What’s that about? Is it to do with my desire for world peace or am I sending a message to our Prime Minister?

Post-retirement career in sales; "how to hug" is the fifth volume in the Encyclopaedia Britannica series

You need to start drinking again!

I don't usually dream but yesterday I did the WFH thing and ate all the chocolates in the house and then all the cheese and didn't start doing any work until four o'clock but then all the sugar and caffeine and sugar caught up to me and I had weird dreams about going to Vancouver to ride the North Shore but when we got there it it was under lockdown so we snuck out of the hotel at 4 AM to do some furtive trails but someone had a pedal strike and started a wildfire so we headed up the ridge to safety and found a cabin but the cabin owners turned up and got angry because we were in their secret meth lab so we paid them off using some of the money from the bank heist and then went back up the ridge to get the rest of the money from where we hid it but the drug dealers followed us so we went back to the garage and got my mate's mk3 capri with a 3 litre V6 and 4-barrel Holley and hot cam and made a run for it but they followed us into the forest and the road ended so we headed out on foot and got separated and then I ran into a clearing and there was a homeless man dressed in cat skins and I realized he was the Russian assassin from the Sopranos who got lost in the forest and had been surviving on stray cats so I lived with him for two years until some nudists had a sack race through the forest and I ran out to meet them dressed only in cat skins but they all ran away in panic. (They had fantastic tits though.)

I've noticed people don't age in dreams, in fact that sometimes wakes me up because I realise something is wrong. They're also proof that even if I've forgotten things they're still in my head somewhere and dreams can bring them vibrantly back to life - far better than AI can do with a photo..

😆 It's not exactly Martin Luther King, is it?

"Last night, I had a dream! I was teaching! I was teaching Chinese people how to hug!"

🤣

I had a dream about a friend last night, that they were moving away to York, to study, and I was happy for them and realised I wouldn't miss them.

Which made me realise some work is needed.

Sometimes in class we go off topic. We discussed dreams and I find it weird how peoples dream experience differs. Some can't lucid dream, some only dream in black and white (monochrome) and some don't have sound in their dreams.

It's all quite odd.

My mum and my sister have never dreamed before.  Zero nil zilch nada! Very weird.  I am the complete opposite.  When I dream it is very similar to the waking world. I can smell, taste, feel, touch etc, even people from the past behaved like they were in life.

Once I dreamed of taking a journey on a train and I could feel the nice breeze.  It was a steam train and very nice.

I once had a dream that was so vivid and disturbing that I couldn't be sure if it was real. It then took me half the morning to pluck up the courage to phone work and subtly try to find out.

I very rarely remember my dreams.  I clearly do dream as I am all over the bed.  However when I do its always abandonment dreams or anxiety dreams.  I never get the nice funny dreams some folk have.

The recent dream that’s stuck in my head is where the impressionist John Culshaw opened a very successful noodle bar.
the usp seemed to be the added very fresh broccoli and butter.

People were queuing round the block😊😊😊

Last night I dreamed that I found a can of beer in my bag, but it was warm so I put it in a bag of ice cubes, but then I don't know what happened after that. Quite frustrating not knowing what happened to that beer.

She'd never be the Dalai Lama... even if you gave her a little more time.
