Is it worth getting a screen protector?
It doesn't seem logical that a touch screen stylus ready plastic screen would fair that well.
I'm also conscious that a removing a tempered glass one might do damage..

So, flexible PET type, or simply not necessary these days?

Interesting question, as I too have a laptop with a touch screen... I don't use a stylus although Asus (my laptop brand) do sell a stylus which comes free with a more expensive model. Presumably the Asus stylus tip will be made of a suitable material for the (Asus) screen anyway, but I don't know.

So if buying a stylus, I'd get one from the same manufacturer just because I don't know if all 'styluses'? are built equal, especially if looking at buying a no-name one, from ebay of whatever.

I don't think I'd put a screen protector on, though, as laptop screens shouldn't be subject to the same sort of abuse as say a mobile phone screen.

Interested to hear any other thoughts on this.

I've got Paperlike on my iPad - it gives it a nice papery feel and is replaceable.
