Just when the old LA thread dropped off our radar, he is back in competitive sport

Will he not take the hint!

Imagine if the other swimmers refused to compete with him...

It's not about the bike and it never has been. Let Little Lance get his attention, the media will eventually tire of him, hopefully.

It's the never give up, never walk away, I'll show them attitude that was a major factor in his being a (hugely flawed) champion. Fair play to him for that. Regardless of the drugs, he has always put the miles and effort in, and wanted/needed to win as much or more than others. Just that the drugs were the difference between him (with lots of others) and any clean athlete who also put the miles in.

Aye, it's a bit like me turning up to a British Fell racing event. It's competitive, but who cares.

I'm starting to feel sorry for him now....how many times is he going to be punished for the same offence? Won't be long before the guy has a speed limit on his walking...

he hasn't been punished yet though...he has refused to do the right thing and tell all officially...so he is yet to face his crimes in a court.

He's back on Twitter now as well, he kept really quiet for a while but is now tweeting occasional stuff.
Usually gets about half a dozen replies to each tweet ranging from
"die you * * cheating ****!"
to
"Lance, PLEASE follow me, you're awesome, I believe in you!"

🙂

USADA banned him, not the UCI, so he is theoritically banned from all sports disciplines or events which may have drugs controls performed.
