[Closed] Laminate flooring under fitted wardrobe?

I'm laying laminate flooring in all our bedrooms. Two have double fitted wardrobes. I'm using a fibreboard type underlay. Can I fit the laminate under the wardrobes and refit on top? I'm a thinking that one day we might change them or remove them so I don't want a big hole in the flooring.

I read somewhere that the weight of the fitted wardrobes would be too great and damage the flooring. But then how would people with freestanding wardrobes fair?

Many thanks.

Save yourself the effort and just keep back some spare boards and you can fit them should you ever remove the wardrobes. Assuming its click together stuff.

That's a good idea.

The usual rule is to fit floor coverings around fitted stuff (ie bathroom furniture) so you can change the floor more easily (the assumption being that the fitted stuff will be there longer than the floor covering).
