Having found out this morning that my old karrimor waterproof is no longer waterproof I was looking at either the rapha waterproof or the mavic oxygen jacket. Has anyone got either of these jackets and how do they rate them? Both say that they have breathable panels but exactly how breathable are they?

I have the rapha stowaway rain jacket (a few years old and now called the rain jacket I think). Fantastic jacket but not the most breathable. Don't think the new one is properly waterproof though.

If you want a lightweight 'stylish' rain jacket take a look at gore.

I have a Gore one,an ALP X I think, and it is really good. It has really, really long arms which, for me, is a huge bonus.

I have tried a Gore jacket and I find the cut of them a bit odd - or maybe its me that is an odd shape - either way I don't really like the fit of them. I like the cut of the womens Mavic and Rahpa stuff so that why I am looking at these two jackets.
