So Flander's programme tonight should suit. Perhaps, contrary to your previous post, we should expect an "answer" then by 22:00! 😉

Socialism instead of capitalism? How does that work?
Are we talking communism here?

Socialism/ Communism much the same , although socialist lite types dread the C word-- hence social democrat , just in case you get tarred with a radical brush

Oh right. Thanks for confirming. Sometimes these terms can mean different things to different people.

Agree that the S Flanders could have been better, but it was still worth watching.
However, saw this the other night and there were more "answers" in 1 hour than the whole economics series. Was a little surprised at how economic ,and political, the programme was ( put it on just to watch big stuff being built). But thinking about it afterwards, it's not that surprising that it seemed more relevant and appropriate than political theory from 100 years ago.

On a similar note as a bit of a PSA, this was good telly too and is shaping up to be a pretty impressive series, even with Marr involved.

thank **** for BBC 4 -- a channel in the wilderness of tv that treats us all with intelligence-- a truly radical channel in that sense, found myself watching stuff i would not have normally been interested in, they do tv as it should be--and to think they were going to cut this in favour of celebrity ringpiece type shite

Reading all this a few days later - Zulu 11, are you for real, or just the twinkle in Georgie Boy Osborne's eye?
