Something of a vacuum in terms of decent pubs, IMHO.

You could don your finest whistle and flute, and your best mockney accent and try Madge's ex husband's place, the Punch Bowl, on Farm St. It's OK. Ish.

The Only Running Footman, just off Berkeley Sq on Charles St, isn't too shabby at all. Will be rammed with Hedgies on a Friday night, though!

But, if it's a special occasion - Fizz at the bar in Claridges. Do it. ๐Ÿ™‚

As above, bit of a gap in the mayfair pub are there.

The Audley, nice for a drink in the sun.

A stroll down towards Berkeley Square will take you closer to some good dining and some other nice pubs or bars like Delfino.

Rich seam of venues at Lancashire court over off New Bond Street.

the Churchill? From W1?

I think not!

OK, so if you'd like a lovely spot for a drink, and just a short cab ride down Park Lane....

The Goring. A little haven of utter loveliness.

The Punch Bowl is nice, but you'll never find it. I went once, it took me 12 days to find it and I never made it back.
