I've got a couple of tickets sat here for Showcase cinemas, valid until end of the year.

Can you think of anyone that would be able to enjoy them; only worth £14 really, but thinking in my tiny little brain that it would be nice to give to a couple that are tight on money and would benefit from the excuse for a night out.

Any ideas? Free and I'll post.

I think you should send them to Pigface to cheer him up.

Sorry, not up on current STW affairs. Had to do some work today.

What happened to Piggy?

Crap, just googled. 🙁

Reminds me of Realman's thread a while back which was even more harrowing.

However not wishing to dismiss anything, but the OP remains. Don't think a trip to cinema is what PF needs, unless he say so.

Fairy nuff.

I'm broke. And I'll take Piggie to see a chick flick. It's the kind of thing he likes. 🙂

*hums a Drifters tune*

I was kind of hoping someone would recommend people they may know, rather than their selfish desire to watch a chick flick with another STW member and talk about flooring. (I am obviously gutted for PF & all involved)

This is not going how I hoped! Someone must know a couple that needs a night out.

Really? Nobody know anyone that could do with a trip to the cinema?

We're clearly out of recession!

I'm friends with a couple who have been struggling on the breadline for ages. One of them as just lost her job due to a series of completely ****ed up things that her boss was doing. I'm having a leaving party a couple of hours away but they aren't able to come due to the costs. We are charging £20 per person to try and cover venue costs but they couldn't afford this. Of course I said they could come for free as it's her birthday after the weekend but they still couldn't afford the transport. I'm still trying to find a way to get them a lift but I can't really afford to pay someone to take them. I think they would really appreciate a trip to the cinema if you felt like helping them out.

I'm full out broke.

Seriously though, I actually am. But why don't you give it to a poor family with kids?

Actually, that's an even better idea. My mate Chloe is a single mum with 2 kids and a skag head ex that she has a restraining order against. She is always up against it but is still the most optimistic person I know. She needs to hope for a better time I guess.
