What are you lot using as knee (and elbow maybe) pads for your kids.

Mine are 11 and 8 (a very big 8 ! )

you can get shitty plastic ones or really expensive ones pro ones for groms that do backflips. but not much in the middle.

My kids are not rad yet but some impact/abrasion resistant pads would be good as they progress and inevitably bin it.

cheers

mark

Had exactly this problem with my 11 and 9 year old. Bought them a pair of Fox Launch each and I'm really impressed with them. Look pro enough to impress the boys and not stupidly expensive at £35 a pair. One size fits all - good fit on my two at least. Got mine from Leisure Lakes -

Friend of mine wanted some knee pads to suit his diminutive wife. They ended up with elbow pads on her knees.

My kids have some g-form pads, using some d3o-a-like stuff that hardens on impact.

Often cheap on sportpursuit.

fox launch are a bit too much really - i use them and even for me locally they are too much. ok for Wales/alps!

will look at some elbow pads. dont need a hard shell really - some decent density foam would be OK.

I have upper body armour with sas-tec pads and that would be ideal. - maybe i`ll cut that up!

I recently got my girl (12) some Endura kids single-track kneepads. I'm impressed enough with the level of protection and she likes being able to put them on and remove them without taking her shoes off.
