Riding the trail at Kirroughtree today - sunny, mild - open while other trails are snow bound!

Oh - looks good. I'm supposed to be there tomorrow and was wondering how snowy/icy it would be.

went round mabie today, riding on mainly "local" trails and it was riding very well. lots and lots of grip as it was frozen solid, in fact the bikes were rolling like it was bone dry. No wind and only a dusting of snow = very enjoyable riding.

'Twas great. I struggled a bit on a couple of the black rocky features, and bypassed McMoab. That last forest-road climb is a b*st*rd though. We set off about 12 - just as the snow arrived and it was basically snowing all day. Just a shame it's a wee bit far from Edinburgh for regular trips.

Post-ride coffee in the shop was most appreciated.
