My father in law wants to buy microbits a john deer quad type thingy, for £350!! This seems like crazy money, so has anyone got any suggestions for a 2 yr old, running on grass, loads of space (2acre lawn/field), that'll survive a boy crashing it into everything and be enough fun to entertain for a few years? 2 seater would be best as his big sister is going to want to play as well...
A 2 year old? Cardboard box or two. Way more flexible. Can travel on land, water in space and underground. All accessories are compatible, including scooters and balance bikes, old shower heads and washing baskets.
Have a look at Roly Toys pedal tractors, well built and strong, lots of accessories, you have to put effort in to have fun, and it will probably be faster than an electric ride on.
