I'm trying to remember where to find a new film (or series, can't even remember which it was) aimed at kids for which I saw the trailer a while ago and thought "me and the little one can watch that when it comes out!" Let's see if my bad description can lead someone straight to it, Google is letting me down!
The general gist seemed to be there's a group of kids, they all play together using their imaginations, pretending to be in a dungeons and dragons or a robin hood type world, so that's what we see on screen, but it cuts between the real and the imaginary all the time. It looks like a "bad guy" comes along like a mayor who wants to build on their park or something so he becomes the bad guy in the imaginary world, like the sheriff of Nottingham or something.
Could be a movie or a series, think it was British but might not be. Could be terrible but the trailer looks ok. It's not the kid who could be king by Joe Cornish.....
