It's European day in my 6yo daughter's school, and she has to dress up in some kind of Italian theme... Not sure what we can do tbh. Ideas?

Football strip came to mind, or rugby since it's a Welsh school.

I realise this may not fit with your (apparent) political views…

However, just as a suggestion, perhaps you make up over-the-top (e.g. parody) designer labels / price tags for existing or charity shop clothes?

E.g.
Big sunglasses with cardboard Gucci label
Sophia Loren type hat
Labels on everthing else:
Armani
Dolce and Gabana
Versace
Prada

Alternatively – improvise large cardboard (or fabric?) tube – cut asymmetric arm holes – felt-tip pen detail = leaning tower of Pisa

Yeah my idea was just general smart clothes with sunglasses.. It's not meant to be *fancy* dress, it's not a party after all just cultural awareness.

If I had a boy I'd put him in a suit with a lifesize doll on each arm and teach him to say "Ciao, sono Silvio Berlusconi"

Giro starts today, maglia rosa should be easy to replicate.
