So you threatened him??? IMO That will make you look like a dick in her eyes unless she is the type of chick that gets off on seeing blokes fight.

I also told him if he tries anything on he'll need an ambulance. He did apologise so he was trying it on.

Or maybe he didn't want to antagonise the violent man.

I don't trust these other guy friends and she doesn't trust these other women friends.

You're missing the point though. Do you trust each other? If you do, you don't have to trust anyone else. It's her (and your) job to stay faithful (or reach some other sort of agreement if you're so inclined), the rest of the world can do what they want and are outside of your control.

Walk away mate.
Wish her well, you've had some good times, but sounds like a situation that's not going to right itself.

Summers on its way, you've a few months ahead where you'll feel crap (sometimes), but get out on the bike, hike a few mountains, few weekends at the coast on a Fatbike etc, you'll be ok.

I'd be off on the bike come summer, somewhere nice. That Danube cycle path always sounds good.
Istanbul. Always fancied going there.

Sounds like a great relationship, sounds like you both have issues. Trust is a pretty fundamental thing to have in a relationship. I think you'll find that things won't work out very well if you don't have it.

My Mrs has quite a few male friends through work and sports. Do they all want to sh*g her? Probably quite a few of them do yes. Would it happen and do I worry about it? No, because I trust her and our relationship is important to both of us.

Do i go and threaten her friends because some of them want to sh*g her? No, because I'm a confident guy I don't feel threatened by it, I quite like the fact that my Mrs is desirable and receives attention from other men. It re-enforces my decision that I made a good choice with her.

Because of that trust we have a good relationship whereby she can also trust me to keep my 'roving lad' in my trousers every time I'm left alone in an environment full of dishy young ladies (ladies whom if I was still single I'd be banging away at like a barn door in a force 9 gale). Works both ways. Good luck 🙂

I still think your previous posts about multiple dates signals something about your approach to life, even when in a relationship.

And why you are keeping up this pretense....

You are one confusing individual.

Therefore you don't have the basis for an adult relationship. Without trust its doomed from day 1

Definite troll

The dates were with women friends who I grew up or caught up. Nothing other platonic.

These dates?
was set up by friends and relatives and friends of friends.

I've spent £100 today

I'm quite happy being single! Dating is fun

This guy gets it.

If your missus is hot and goes out with male 'friends' 99% of the time they will want to do the nasty with her. Wanting to do it and actually trying it on are two different things.

I had a smoking hot ex who was nuts, but totally loyal. She had loads of male 'friends' as she got on better with guys, but just couldn't see that they all wanted to shag her. She was convinced that a hot woman can have lots of platonic male friends 😆

I found it pretty funny, but only as I trusted her 100%.

Some men and women can be trusted to have friends of the opposite sex and some can't.

Some men and women can be trusted to have friends of the opposite sex and some can't.

Exactly, as a red blooded male I'd happily fall into a pit of mindless fornication with any of the attractive women I meet on a daily basis if I was single, if they were single, and if both of us wanted it. But if I'm in a relationship or if they're in a relationship then it's a no go.

Doesn't stop me wanting to have sex with them, it just means that I value my relationship with my GF and the trust within it over and above me wanting to get a quick bit of 'leg over'. So I keep these thoughts to myself, treat attractive ladies with respect and don't do anything inappropriate.

So if you're in a relationship, provided your GF does not look like Shrek, there will no doubt be countless guys wanting to have sex with her. You can't do anything to change this so provided she's sane, trustworthy and committed to the relationship there's no point in worrying about it.

Even if she's not that hot. As I get older the % of women I would gets higher as my standards slip. But being married I don't try it on, I think that's a habit from being married 😉

Last night the relationship councillor said we both have issues not just trust and that we both want to fix and work it out.

Did she/he mention the word "fickle" ?

Sorry for ranting. Wasted a decade of my life. New bike?

Frankenstein - Member

Not buying a bike. Looking at new cars now.

I told her to be happy and I'm moving on without her.

I've told her we will see a therapist if she can't agree equal boundaries.

Does your GF have any clue what you want?

Because I'll be ****ed if I do.

Last straw and I told her if she wanted male friends I should be able to talk to my female friends without her worrying but that's not right...

What's good for the goose must be good for the gander, you either play by the same rules or not at all.

She sounds controlling & insecure.

Walk away.

edit: RUN AWAY.

double edit: RIDE AWAY. FAST.

Are they dates or are they platonic?

I'm still confused.

I want to know if he is outside or inside boy, then I might have a little hint of clarity.

For the other side of the story, why not head over to imaginarygirlfriendtrackworld and check the thread entitled "I'm homeless and I don't like chocolates.."

Are they dates or are they platonic?
POSTED 17 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

Just catching up with old friends and yes an ex too, but nothing happened and nor did I want it to as I would not cheat but I did admit I enjoyed the attention.

And this was brought up last evening. I don't want any insecurities in our relationship and we both want to make it stronger. Yes some of it is my fault for working long hours. The councillor struggled to get her to see wrongdoings too.

No they were not dates. I had coffee catch ups and laughed about old uni stories and invited the other half.

If there was flirting it wasn't physical nor was I looking for sex. I'm pretty loyal. As a man I enjoyed their company but not to the point of booking a hotel room.

Once she had a friend flirt with me intentionally as a test which I didn't know but gave her the cold shoulder and told my other half what happened.

That's really not what you said on that thread 9 months ago.

But I do get the impression that you change your mind a lot.

The natural conclusion is for her to catch you in bed in an uncomprimsing position with GoldMember, a packet of revels and a curly-wurly.

And for you to say ''this is exactly what it looks like"

Good luck

Or...
Took one girl out this morning for a a walk and brunch at Tower Bridge before taking another to dinner at Leicester Sq.

Actually was set up by friends and relatives and friends of friends.
Never needed internet dating but can see how it can introduce people of similar values.
One woman was a veg lover only. I love veg but need my fish and chicken.
One woman was very intelligent which I liked but goes to church every week and I'm an atheist.
Last week a lady was badly dressed and looked like she came from the gym.
I'm quite happy being single! Dating is fun but as I'm getting on a bit the single women are a bit weird! (So another thing we have in common.)

Wasted a decade of my life.

You probably did the right thing kicking her out - however you didn't waste a decade, you had it seems, mostly a good time.

Marriage for life was invented before the dark ages when people died in their 30's/40's and a good chunk of girls would die in childbirth ages 16 etc etc.

Now that we live longer, people have time to change. Most of societies hang ups are because we're still living in the dark ages emotionally, when it comes to relationships. Society and individuals, by and large are mostly too childish to deal with these issues in manner that doesn't involve black and white thinking and throwing tantrums.
