I saw the pot-bellied man of mystery in Brum last year; he turned up late, did half a half hearted show and then (like the audience was) pissed off.

Public Enemy a few weeks previously was far better.

I ain't joking... [i]Operation Doomsday[/i] and [i]Madvillainy[/i] are two of the best hip-hop albums ever.

Besides, he does a track with Beth Gibbons. I don't even care what it sounds like - just the thought of it is fugging ace.

Edit: live hip-hop - a notoriously variable experience, for sure.
