Anyone recommend a decent one within walking distance of the town centre - or any other good accommodation?

Amble House is staggering distance from the town centre. It's a lovely place, run by a really nice couple , that does a great breakfast, to set you up for the day!

It's a default now when we head up there

We stayed at the Kings Arms which is right in the centre of Keswick.
We paid £54 for 2 people B&B.

Very nice room and good food in the bar.

Stayed in Howe keld a couple of years ago, close to town centre, friendly owners, good breakfast and the rooms weren't bad either.
