and it was with a re-curve.

At every following target the archer whose arrow I trashed insisted on recovering his arrows before I shot again, especially on the short ones.

Of course the compound crowd reckon they get them all the time. ๐Ÿ™„

I was 'bowhunter' (compound, nae sight, with a short stabiliser) last time I shot field - been a few years so the styles have no doubt changed!

I thought it was only a 'Robin Hood' if you did it to your own arrow? Still cool though- did he let you keep the arrow so you can mount it?

@neil_1979

I could of kept it if I wanted it. But my arrow was OK and I didn't want carbon fibres all over the place. Photo will suffice.

I don't know what "POC" is, but I was a fletcher also.

First I've heard of it, so unlikely. I've not shot outside of an "experience day" type environment in years (and last time I did I was embarrassingly bad!)

Edit: Hunting Tackle

Me an' all.

46lb

That's a chunky bow. Mine was, er, 38@26" IIRC, I'd have to check, and it was on the heavy side for shooting all day. That said, I'm only little.

If you didn't have so big a bow you might be able to get to full draw properly. (-: And, Sort your neck out.
