I prefer the red metallic personally, though black would look amazing I reckon.
I think it’d look good in maraschino red, a Porsche colour. A bit darker, more purple.
**** me AI can't even get one of the most basic patterns in the history of mankind right.
Don't know how to do it in AI but I reckon silver would look nice on that.

1) Copy the picture
2) Open the free online version of Copilot/GROK etc
3) Paste the picture
4) Tell the tool to "Re-colour the car in silver"
First car I bought was a Chevette. Baby blue, not silver though.
When does the project go live WCA?
It is live, aren't following the thread - like and subscribe to my Youtube channel for all the lastest disappointing content 🙂

Sorry WCA, ive not been following the build work on the other thread either, but glad to hear its basically complete, well done.
Now i look at this thread, and find myself saying "Hmm, is that an AI version of the Kintail ridge? Thats rather lovely, considering"
Can you tell I'm not one for getting excited by cars? 😂
Don't think about the car, think about the process from the initial thought, through learnign how the strip the bodywork off the Porsche, carving and modelling the new design in foam glued to the car, finding out what you can coat the foam in and sand back enough to mold from, making glass fibre moulds, learning about carbon fibre and the different ways to lay it up and use it in moulds, popping the carbon fibre panels out of the moulds, then try to fit those to the car, then trying to sort out all the electrics.
It's a whole series of different challenges and hobbies rolled up into one pretending to be a car.
Here, hopefully is a video when I first took it out. I was parked in a car show, and someone else had already parked up on the other side of the car show. They decided to bring their car over and park next to mine just because they could.

How about some old school Porsche metallic brown?

Needs more DS 😉
Although, you've put in far, far, far more work (and skill) in.
I agree but I cannot change the windscreen angle, and there are major constraints on getting the swept back look under the headlights due to the Porsche radiators. Directly behind those black grilles/holes in the air dam are three radiators which I can't really move. This stops the beak-like undercut of the Real DS.
The front of the bonnet will have the chrome moustache, that's in progress at the moment. If you watch the videos, you'll see that happening. I've put the side repeaters into that air dam at the moment they're white lens, but I'll probably paint them orange like on the real DS.
I can't find any colour pics of the 1966 Toivonen Monte winner but this is the colour

A red rag to Mini fans who obsess about the headlight disqualification. 🙂
Tried scandal green from and S1 Elise 160 but it didn't look right on the image which was a shame 😀
