I just fixed my Skoda's electric window with a kit from Ebay for £20.
That's a lot cheaper than putting it into a garage and getting them to fit a whole new unit.
It was quite easy as well. I fixed my Freelander's window the other week for £15 with another Ebay kit, but it was quite tricky to get the cables in place.
