No-one hurt

Expect multiple whiplash claims in the coming weeks.

You'll be shakey for a day or so, but as above you get used to it after a few 😉 Glad you're ok 😀

Cars can be fixed / replaced; people are a bit trickier.

Make yourself a brew and sit down, have a quiet tremble to yourself.

It gets easier/better the more you have.

It sucks but don't dwell on it, learn from your mistake if you made one.

I had a big smash last year which was unavoidable on my part and I wasn't myself for a week or so, went back to work but couldn't concentrate, it passed after a few days, I got back driving again the day or two days after to get back on the horse as it was.

mots of us have crashed learn from it and have as few as possible

Not had one for 20 years that was my fault - lucky to survive that one and no one was hurt but me.

I rolled a company pool car two days after passing my test, didn't sleep for 48 hours, had whiplash so bad I was in a neck brace for weeks.

After than, other crashes / bumps just seem quite mundane.....

Aye, I've not crashed a car for a long time but the crashes you have certainly teach you an awful lot. Treat it as a learning experience and make sure you learn something from it. It does really shake you up though.

The "bang" is sometimes worse than the damage - seems to make a huge noise when crashing, only to find much less damage than expected.

If the bloke were to claim whiplash we he contact me or my insurance company. I've got a sick old man at the moment and this is just the icing on the cake i didn't need.

Glad you are ok OP 🙂

I've always said I'd rather smash my bike to pieces than break myself and the same with cars.
