Just cancelled sky as there was another increase due.
I already have Prime and an Amazon fire tv stick with kodi on it.
Have a download speed of 36Mb/s so can happily stream stuff.
Do people just stream all their tv / moovies now?
Not sure whether to get a freesat / pvr type box or a better streaming box like the firestick (hate the tiny remote and its always getting lost).
Do you like watching and/or recording the programs from the channels on Freesat ?
yes - get a Freesat PVR
no - don't get a Freesat PVR
But cant you literally stream anything you want for free now??
TV is used mainly for childrens TV (not by me obviously)..
Rather than splash out £150 for a Humax.. is there a better tv box streaming thingy than Amazon Fire TV ??
PVR = bin the ads at the press of a button. Of course your streams may be mostly ad free in which case, no need.
Not sure about Freesat land but in Freeview land your EPG now consists of 'the past' which is internet stream based, 'the current' which is watch now / pause / rewind or 'the future' which is put-a-tape-in and it's all searchable from one place (both on-demand and on now/future). Best of both worlds I suppose.
