I produce these images, which the sales lass then puts in a word document. I have been asked to add a bit of text to the image. Now this seems okay except I can not appear to align the text left. Any ideas? I'm on a mac.

align the image right instead, double or right click and set its align options... god knows i dont use word but you can either move the image or move the text

It is nothing to do with the image type - it is ineptitude in Word causing your problems.

Not sure if the problem is in word or whether you are using something else and supplying the images with text overlaid on top.

If it is in word you would want to take a look at the wrap text option associated with the image (ctrl click or right click and wrap text) or alternatively you could add a text box to the word document, which you would be able to position anywhere you like including on top of the image.

Sorry - not meaning to be unhelpful but my humour clearly didn't come across.

But yes, it is a text wrap issue causing the problems, but also the way in which you insert images can make Word act weirdly. Unfortunately I am a pretty inept user myself so can't offer a definitive answer.

Hi sorry to confuse. It is not to do with word thats what the lass uses, i export the file as a jpeg and then use the annotate function in the jpg for the text.

The reason I mentioned word is, I have supplied her with a pdf which worked fine but as she has not downloaded acrobat all panic happens blah blah, resulting in it being far less stressful asking you lot than downloading acrobat. haha! One day I will be my own boss!!
