Been watching a lot of his HBO show on YouTube, never fails to make me laugh whilst conveying a serious message, his SLAP law effort should of won awards.

His finest moment was The Smurfs or The Love Guru.

Yes, a fan of his. Sometimes i dont get the jokes as it is about some American governor I’ve never heard of mind!

Saw him a few times at the Fringe when he was a double act with Andy Zaltzman. They were brilliant. And the Bugle podcast stuff they did was superb. Not so fussed about his American stuff as a lot of the references pass me by but he’s still a funny guy. That said of the two I prefer Andy Z.

Check out The Bugle podcast. It's essentially the same show as Last Week Tonight and John Oliver used to co-present it before he went to America to become famous.

Yes the Bugle is still superb. Very dry clever and funny.

I like it when, following on from the certain knowledge that trump is glued to Fox news, the show will pay for an advert that addresses trump directly, usually in the guise of a good old boy cowboy addressing the camera

Quick search. It's the Catheter Cowboy. For example:

He's very good; some of his comments are lost on his US audience as 'muricans, generally, don't get sarcasm or cynicism or humour.

Every time I see a crow Croquembouche on a menu or on display I’m so tempted to quote that.

+1 for the Bugle, I’ve recently found it and starting to make my way through the old epsiodes. I love Zaltzman anyway and the admiration I have for his puns

The Bugle episode where John talks about going to a gun range is a classic.
