Since teh start of the cold snap I am suffering from this really badly, I think I even drew blood on my last run. What are the best preventative measures?

Plasters?
(if you're not hairy)

Couple of Polos should cover 'em nicely.

A bit of micropore tape will do the trick. less sticky than plasters and doesn't leave a stain on your shirt or get the funny looks that a jar of vasaline does.

Some sort of training bra?

...or possibly MTFU?

But probably vaseline will do.

Bodyglide. About £6-7 from Wiggle for a decent bar - it's like a roll-on deodorant, doesn't stain your clothes, works a treat. Also useful if you get rubbing in the groinal area or anywhere else, and I found it invaluable for marathon training.

Dab of vaseline with bit of sellotape over the top for me (vaseline on its own leaves hard-to-explain marks :p ).
