I'm pretty happy with the content of my CV (currently 2 sides a4) but I think the format / layout might be a bit tired. Does anyone have a template I can basically copy and paste my information into?
The job is a landscape partnership post so no graphic design / cool kid stuff cheers : )
My email is oligiles101 at gmail dot com
Thanks
Oli
Go to waterstones and read the books, focus on achievements not history.
Are you applying direct or via websites or agencies? I see a lot if C.V's and can say the majority are cut and paste into the recruitment company's format.
By all means use a new format for your own, just understand the 'important' reader may not see it the same way as which you sent it.
I was told recently that if a post has a lot of applicants, the shortlister may be only looking at a CV for 20-30 seconds! If this is true, then two pages A4 is way too long. Keep it to one page, then keep it to bullet points is was I have been advised. Good luck!
#Edit# and make it better English that that^
