Totally mindless....poor buggers who own it now.

However, 'Jimmy the beast' sound almost complementary to me, is that the best they could come up with?

I'm not sure that Jimmy Savile ever owned that house. I think he might have had a lifetime lease on the place, but never owned it.

I think the same goes for every other house on the Glencoe and Dalness estate - owned by NTS.

AFAIK It's still owned by one of his charitable trusts.

I thought he used to live in a Caravan in the BBC car park?

Dalness estate is private. Sold for about £3million not long ago.

Savile bought the Glencoe cottage in 1998 and was described as an "adopted local" by community leaders after his death.

The cottage was to be sold earlier this year but the sale was halted by Savile's charitable trust, who announced plans to convert it into a respite centre for the disabled.

Well I think vandalising a respite centre for the disabled is something we can all get behind

It's not though, not that it makes it any better.
