Ton, I've recognised everyone of your photos this week which is annoying when I've been desk bound all month.

Sharkattack, what is that second picture? It looks like something from War of the Worlds

It's a giant metal tripod and that orange bit on its face is a holographic image of the sun which animates as you move past it. I had no idea it was there but it's on the coast to coast cycle route. It appears to be the start of a scale model of the solar system because I went a bit further on, heading east towards the coast, and I spotted markers for Earth, Mars and Jupiter and each marker has a cool holographic planet and the number of metres to the end of the route.

Cool eh?
