Recently discovered these two artists. Loving what they do with very little. Anyone else know of them?

Try a bit of Mount Kimbie too. They did some early stuff with James Blake (a lot better than his album, I reckon)

Yep, he's best listened to in a quiet environment, headphones work very well. There's some very low register bass in some of his music that I'm sure must disturb my neighbours.

His cover of Joni Mitchell's 'Case of you' is wonderful.

definitly. mount kimbies would be worth a listen too, also sepalcure, instra:mental and darkstar. all kind of melancholic bass music.

I seen James Blake on Jools Holland and thought he was incredible. Such a unique voice and really atmospheric music. I love it! I will have a look at SBTRKT later on!

Apparat: The Devil's Walk is worth a listen. (and so is his other stuff)

I also cant speak highly enough of Phaeleh, but probably not as close to your original 2 choices.

Have been thinking about getting the SBTRKT album for a while now. Whats it like? I thought James Blake was dissapointing though, bit overhyped. Quite liked Jamie Woons offering.

Also has anyone got Ghostpoets album?

Ooh yeah - Synkro. Jamie put me on to them and for that I am eternally grateful 🙂

SBTRKT album is good - quite "poppy" though.

The devils walk is OK, but his album WALLS is better IMO.

I know she's become a bit passé since I discovered her ( 😉 ), but this is orgasmic.
