I saw an ad in the last thread for J E James - the strap line was "Save a Boatload". Is it just me or is that in rather poor taste given current events?

If you think it is, sorry I'm putting you in the box with the other oversensitive PC types. It's a standard UK phrase, end of.

Being honest I think the phrase usually is ' Save a shedload'

Considering their rep, I doubt many will save a boatload. ๐Ÿ˜‰

They might as well be traffickers of humans that then die at sea due to their appalling take on sales and sending items that no doubt get ''lost at sea'' or does that pun also damage your sensitivity...

TBH, I've not seen the ad but I'd expect / hope it's accidental rather than intentional. Pretty short-sighted though.

hmmm i just got an email from JE JAMES saying BIG REDUCTIONS - i thought this was about the fact that only meant 15% - not what i'd call BIG
