Not the most pressing issue of our time but annoying nevertheless. ITV Hub is crashing our Hitachi TV - when you select a programme to watch it shows the ITV Hub ident and begins the Domino's sponsorship advert and then shuts down and restarts the TV - Googling doesn't produce anything other than the fact that others have the same problem - any cause/fix solutions out there?
If its a newish TV then have a look round to see if there's a firmware update, otherwise this seems to be the fate of many smart TVs - the streaming platform moves on and the TV doesn't keep up. Buying a chromecast, roku, fire stick, now TV or similar will get you back up and running.
It could be the app, as we have been having issues with ITV Hub on a Humax Freesat box, although we were able to watch the first section then it crashed at the first adverts.
