I have an old powerbook G4 which is on its last legs (yeah yeah, should have bought a PC etc etc).
I have managed to transfer all of music over to my macbook pro, but all of my playlists which I have spent hours on arent there.
So how do I transfer over the playlist criteria, not the actual songs, but the selections you use to create a playlist if you know what I mean, like " artist equals xxx, album = xxx etc)
is there a pain free way to do this?

If you transfer the iTunes folder from your old Mac onto your new Mac, it brings everything with it. All songs and all playlists.
Hard drive » Users » Your Name » Music » iTunes. It's what I've always done, did it a few weeks ago with my new huge iMac. It's lush.
