Absolute rubbish, I’ve withdrawn mine this morning. I could make more in a day speculating 1% of my savings on crypto than I have made in a year on PBs.

If you’re after high returns and high risk then I don’t think bonds are the place for you

Cashed all my premium bonds in after a miserable 2 years with a grand total of £50 to show for over £13k worth of bonds.
3 months into a stocks and shares ISA, I’m up 3%. I went for a low risk set of Vanguard funds.

I'll be doing the same early next year, £10k in premium bonds has netted me £25. £10k in a Vanguard ISA over the same period is not far off £1500 up.

Sod all again! 15k in and so far I'm losing for the year compared with having it in an isa or savings.

had a quick look at the high prize winners yesterday thanks to google news suggestions.

there was a(not the million) winner from my area with a total holding VERY close to my holding .......so close i had to log in an see what my holding was now as the app doesnt tell you that.

It wasnt me....

I'm in Bristol, but not retiring just yet. Still, very happy with £100 this month.

SFA all again. I’m giving it until Jan then pulling most of it to go into S&S ISA at this rate.

Oh well, last month was obviously an outlier; nothing for me at all in November. Nose back to the grindstone by the look of it.
But Mrs Lawman gets 3 x £25, so it's not all bad news.

My lack of prize means someone else got a prize instead. My money is lining the pockets of ordinary people, not fat cat bankers. Or something.

Also, I'm up for the year already vs my bank.

Nothing this month. Here's the picture since July when I got off to a flyer but things have dried up in the last 3 months.
Month Prize Return Cumulative Return Annualised return
1 £50.00 0.11% 0.11% 1.32%
2 £100.00 0.22% 0.33% 1.97%
3 £75.00 0.16% 0.49% 1.97%
4 £25.00 0.05% 0.55% 1.64%
5 £25.00 0.05% 0.60% 1.44%
6 £0.00 0.00% 0.60% 1.20%

Edit-sorry about the formatting, looks ok in the input panel.

Another £25 for me (second one since I opened the account in February). Can't complain I guess.

Another £25 for me.

That's £125 over 12 months. Which is about 1.8% but last year £50 - so it's swings and roundabouts. TBH it's just a substitute for playing the lottery but without losing my stake

Yay, Christmas bonus... £25 for me.

Brings me up to about 1.1% on the year (I top up regularly and can't be bothered to work out an average balance), which is can't complain territory.

Nothing.

But I've had £100 since the first draw I was eligible for in August so can't complain 🙂

Nowt.

If I wasn't waiting for my sister to decide whether to buy a house, I'd have mine invested in my ISA.

My ISA generously gives me 0.1%. So I've emptied it into a mixture of premium bonds and stocks. The Premium bonds are doing better 😐

The year started badly but now I'm bang on my predicted return. Average luck for me

Just got a message saying I've won 2x£25. Strange it didn't come through yesterday.

Apparently they will inform you earlier if you win big. Otherwise, you tend to get the email notification a day or two after the results are available on the website, for some reason.
