I don't object to paying for stuff, just the format it's delivered in. If I could download a DRM free file which played on VLC, had no ads, no trailers, no retarded FACT rubbush at the start, then I'd buy it (assuming reasonably priced).

On a related note, prior to Spotify I used to pirate loads of music, but since Spotify came along and I became a paid up subscriber, I've not pirated a single track. I'm just waiting for a decent (as in not Netflix) equivalent for Films and TV.

Same here, when I get me new Fibre Broadband Connection (there was some more getting done yesterday) I'd pay for proper blu ray quality films to be downloaded that could be played on any platform.
