Indeed, some of my local trails reminded me of winter conditions underfoot, then others were bone dry. Odd.

A local bloke has put duck boards down over the worst swamps around here, quite thoughtfully. Current weather is rain, which should make the Tour of Luxembourg prologue pretty unpleasant with the 20% gradient cobbled road.

Looks like I am not the only one getting fed up with this, supposed to be summer FFS. Local routes here are like a bog.

Luckily it's very wet and doesn't stick but it shouldn't be like that this time of year.
The water table must have been just below the surface.
