When I go to Germany this week - should I have a folded up £20 note in the back of my passport to bribe the authorities in Munich airport ?

You won't still have your £20 - you'll have used it for a coffee and a sandwich in departures

Surely it should be Euros you'd be tipping?

Spend it at the Thai in departure gate C.

I read that as 'Spent it on the Thai in departure gate C' and was thinking, I don't recall a brothel last time I was there, but £20 is very good value 😉

Best to knock up a convincing National Socialist German Workers' Party membership card to pop in there as well.

Corrupt 3rd world country - UK?

The UK is not a corrupt 3 rd world country here you make £ donations to political parties and offer highly paid sinecures to the individual politicians to control government. In the third world the £ goes straight to the politician. Plus in the third world they make transnational corporations pay for ducking over the population here we give them tax breaks to do it.
