Just received a speeding ticket from Pisa something or other that relates to a detection in June whilst we were on holiday. Anybody any experience of these things? My thought is to ignore it but not sure what they could do. Any appeal has to be in Italian so that rules an appeal out!

not sure what they could do

Send the boys round?

Best not to ignore it - people end up getting arrested when they return to places doing that.

If you think it's a fair cop why not just pay it?

Bin it. They won't bother chasing you.

When I lived in France I collected parking tickets. I parked in a residents only street outside my house for a whole year, the traffic warden gave up writig tickets after the first month 😈

They'll not pursue you in Britain for it but it depends if you ever want to go back to Italy again.

What if you get stopped or are involved in an accident & the Italian cops check and you have an outstanding fine? Or quick check at passport control? You take your chances.
