Hi,

Any IBM Thinkpad literate techies on-line?

I've got a T40 which has a S-VHS socket. Is it an Input only or Input/Output interface?

If it Outputs how can I configure it to connect to my telly which has a S-VHS input?

Cheers

John

It'll almost certainly be an output. You need to connect an S-VHS cable from laptop to TV. There will then be a key combination or an application to switch-on the S-VHS output. On my thinkpad, it's Function Key + F7 to toggle between different video outputs. Alternatively you might need to go to the graphics adapter utility and enable the option there.

Cheers dc.

Swapped the 2nd output device in Displays from ext monitor to TV and it's working fine.
