Eh, how does that happen? Fed up with getting junk mail, it's the same old stuff over and over, but when I try to block it I get a message saying 'you can't block your own email' ... how does that happen, how have they somehow managed to have my own email address within it somehow so I can't block it? Can this be changed or anything you can do about it?

try to view the full 'header' of the email - sometimes this is an option in your email client. Spammers/bots 'spoof' the reply-to address so it appears that the email came from your own account, which is not the case. The actual senders address is usually hidden in the header and can usually be blacklisted.

Thanks, I'll have a look and see if I can do that 🙂

It's very, very easy to spoof an email address. All they've done is made "to" and "from" the same address. Probably for exactly the reason you describe.

I forward all email sent to my domain to my personal gmail account - Mr Google gets rid of 99.5% of all the crap for me.
