I saw two swallows just as I was leaving the archery club, there’s a small barn by the entrance to the track that leads to the range, one flew out of it, the other was perched on a telephone wire by the road, then flew off to join the first one. It must be summer now, right? 🤣

Meanwhile I'm looking at snow in front of me on Schehallion....
It's definitely not summer.
I've still got electrical tape over the extractor fan vents on the ground floor. When I peel it up I can feel a jet of cold air blasting in.
When the tape is off, summer has arrived.

Saw a lad in a simmet and shorts beer in hand yesterday.

Today saw a -2 start on the campsite at Rannoch and my first martin of the year.
Brambles and nettles are still pretty much non existent in Derbyshire, based on today's ride. I also saw the first bit of hedge porn I've seen for years on the ride this morning. Who says print is dead 😀
