I've given up trying to get technical support from FH...
I need somebody to host our website, and somebody for email. Half of us use hosted Exchange, the other half just use POP3. Ideally I'd like to move everybody to Exchange if the price is right (just 10 users).
There's no online shop yet, but that's coming later in the year. Can anyone recommend providers? They don't have to be the same provider for each service.

UK based, with outstanding customer support (typical response is within minutes, unlike FH's hours!)
Not the cheapest, but if you rely on hosting, it's worth every penny.
They also have support forums at www.unitedforums.co.uk for more general queries, where staff reguarly post and help, if you feel a support ticket is probably overkill.

I am with Fasthosts, but only for a domain hosting and not had to contact them. Are they shit then?
Fasthosts are awful. I had to move our server from them after their second security lapse and we went to the opposite end of the spectrum which was Rackspace. Expensive but great support.
After years of good service, just had a serious drop in quality and service from Easyspace, so... not them
Rackspace for Exchange.
United Hosting for shared server web hosting.
LMAO @ Fasthosts. Used to work there, you would have nightmares about your data if you really knew what went on... get out while you still can.
