All of a sudden when I double click on a new message it's opening up minimized on the bottom tool bar instead of in a new window. Help how do I get a new window.

There are, but this is too easy when you have google!
Maximize the message, close it by clicking the X WHILE holding the Shift key down.
You don't state which email client you are using.
Or what operating system, or anything really.
I take it you've switched it off and on again 🙂
Is it a variety of Windoze, OS-X or a linux flavour?
For e-mail Outlook, Notes or something else - a screen shot would be useful...
and there's a reason, something about customer care bs, they don't put techies on the helpdesk 😆
Well to a dimmo like me this is all about as clear as a muddy puddle (which I do know about) e-mail is outlook if that helps.
