Hi, I would like to see the original listing for a van I’ve bought (should have screenshotted it and didn’t). this was the link but now goes to the site generally rather than the actual van listing:

https://www.used-cars-vans.co.uk/used-vauxhall-movano-walsall-west-midlands-4109374

Is it gone for ever?

Could you contact the company? They should be able to use the id (4109374) to find it- if it's not wiped from their database

Under the circumstances I don’t think that’s an option.

Did it actually only measure 4.8m?

I've just saved the Bing cache URL above into the Wayback Machine, in case it disappears from the cache.

hmm, the @evillittlegoat link isn’t my van.

It was also listed on autotrader but I can’t find a way to copy an old link for that.

When did you buy it ? It looks like the catalog pages of that site might have been preserved; just not the actual van specific page; it might help ?

I think they took the ad down about 3 weeks ago. I want to see the features it was listed as having.

I think this is the same van / seller? I think it matches what @evillittlegoat's link shows. Seems to still be an active listing which I presume was copy / pasted or scraped automatically from their own site?

@Stevehine Thanks very much! That's great. Witchcraft.

@thenorthwind yes - we checked like a million things with them before purchase. Just helps to have the advert.

Actually; it's not as difficult as you think; you just need to condense the pertinent info from the url:

Peek behind the curtain

God I love this place. You lot are great!

And, enjoy perusing my hopefully future adventure vehicle! Plan is to remove the toilet, heater and bulkhead, swap out the rear seats for some that fold, and add a bed with bike store under. Hope to see some of you at races and events in months to come (once it stops leaking oil onto my drive, among other things 🙄)
