MMMM sat here eating a choc chip and hazelnut chewy oat cookie that I've just made! Made about 42 odd!!!! I'm goign to be living off them over the weekend ... yum yum and some fresh coffee to go with them..

MM I haven't ventured onto baking flapjack yet just staying with the cookies! Cookies are different to biscuits in my eyes, about mixture and texture rather than language!

my sister made some toblerone cookies over the weekend, they were really quite spectacular.
Freshly ground coffee along with some thick cut wholegrain toast. 2 very good smells.
A slightly squashed dairylea sandwich (on a soft white breadcake) at the top of a big hill on a warm and sunny day - the hill you just pedalled up, cleanly - with views for miles in all directions.
I think that wins for me.
If we are just talking flavours though, hot yorkshire puds and gravy or a slice of lovely mature cheddar with wholegrain mustard.
The first sip of a glass of well aged red wine, served at precisely the right temperature. Maybe with some nice soft cheese and a baguette straight out of the boulangerie.
