Just waiting to see a specialist about me old ticker and wondered if there was some sort of set time I'd have to wait.
Road race season is two months away and I need to know if it's OK to race.
Worst case senario I'd have to eat my words and look at sportives 😥
Mad innit more worried about which tyres to buy, lightweights for racing or something heavier for the distance than what's wrong with my heart. 😀

From GP referral to initial oupatients with a consultant should be within 13 weeks, with the 18 weeks being referral to treatment. I had a brief fling with one of the performance team in our hospital, and they seem to take the 13 weeks time frame pretty seriously. Quality data 🙂

The guidelines are 18weeks referral to treatment unless you have been fast tracked for cancer in which case it is 2 weeks
