Need to download a pdf form, fill it in and re-send. Don't want to fill it in by hand, as if I have to it will mean having to fax it. So is there an easy and reliable way to do this?

Depends you may be able to open it in a PDF editor. But unlikely.

open office Draw (free download). you will need to get the PDF editor application for it (free also). its not perfect but it does a decent job given that PDF's are desinged to be an end product i.e. printed off to be filled in.

Someone posted an online pdf editor here a while ago. Annoyingly some forms (like the UK passport C1 form) don't allow you to open then and edit them, even with Acrobat.
