Need to do some online assessments and but they only support explorer 6, 7 and 8. It won't play with Safari or Firefox.

not really. IE5 is still around for free download but I dont think you cant get the newer versions unless you use Bootcamp, Parralels or VMWare Fusion to run Windows.
Why did you want to use it?
Try changing Safari's user-agent string so that it goes "hi, I'm Internet Explorer"?

The website says I can use Firefox, Safari, Chrome, explorer but when I try and runt he test, it tells me I need explorer. When I go back, it tells me I've already run the test! Fortunately, it was just a practice. If I'd tried that with the real tests, I really would be in the brown stuff.
I've decided to play safe and drive over to a mates house as he's still on a PC with explorer.
