I'm nearly 40, A beautiful lie is a superb album.
I'm 39 and quite like them.
I suspect I'd become quite bored if I listened to the album though.

It's wrong of anyone of any age to feel bad about the music they like.
Though sometimes you end up in a weird demographic- went to see My Chemical Romance a few times, and they're officially a kid's band for kids. So you have the 95% of the audience that are young enough to be my kids, and then you have the 4% who are there with [i]their [/i]kids. And then there's the awkward 1% in the middle. It made a nice change going to see Carter USM and being one of the youngest there...
Why on earth do people insist on putting age restrictions on the music you should listen to? Listen to whatever makes you happy, regardless of age.
That was pretty straight forward!! We did also have the "youngster" issue at a recent Biffy gig but I did enjoy thrAshing a few of them round the head whilst up the front in the mosh!! 😀
